Medway Grave Care is a family-run business which aims to help you out by tending to graves and adding that human touch should you not be able to visit or attend to the grave yourself.
Visiting departed loved ones at certain times of the year such as Birthdays, Anniversaries and Christmas can easily become a distressing experience. From buying flowers to travelling to and from the cemetery can all add up, both in time and energy. Often, when you do manage to visit in person, much of the available time is used cleaning the grave of your loved one - rather than being able to take a few minutes to pay your respects and reflect upon the precious memories of your partner, parent, friend or relative.
For many people, a trip to their loved ones’ graves may not even be a possibility - perhaps those who are elderly, sick, or disabled, or those who have moved away or abroad.
Medway Grave Care can visit your loved one’s grave in advance of your visit to tidy up, or alternatively, if you are unable to visit the cemetary yourself, to attend to the grave on your behalf. We can send you a full written report on the current condition of the headstone and grave, and also on any work that we’ve undertaken for you.
We can also purchase and place flowers, wreaths and grave adornments and decorations on your behalf. This might be for a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary - or simply just to say ‘hello’ and give your respects at any time.
Photographs can also be sent - either by post or by email - just to let you know that your loved one’s grave is being looked after as per your wishes and instructions. Should you feel that any serious work is required, such as a new headstone, flagstones, borders or landscaping, simply let us know and we can arrange it all for you.
